AVAILABILITY OF DOCTORS BY TELEPHONE

Doctors in this practice may be contacted by telephone during normal surgery hours.  When doctors are with other patients messages will be taken.  Your call will be put straight through to a doctor in an emergency.

RESULTS POLICY

Our Practice Nurse is available between 1-2pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to give out results, these times may change so please like our Facebook page for updates.  If the results are urgent your doctor will call you.  You can make a follow up appointment to discuss your results with your doctor.

PATIENT FEEDBACK

From time to time, this practice invites patients to complete a questionnaire on their views of the practice and how it could be improved.  These surveys are completely confidential and help us to improve our services.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the care you receive from this practice, we are keen to know about it.  Please feel free to talk to your doctor or the receptionist about any problems you have with the service we provide. You can also provide anonymous feedback through our suggestion box.  If, however, there is a problem you would prefer to take up outside, you may contact the Health Complaints Commissioner (26/570 Bourke Street, Melbourne 3000 1300 582 113).

PRIVACY

All patient consultations and medical records including computerised records are kept strictly confidential. Patients at this practice have the right to access their personal health information on request, subject to certain expectations and payment of fees. A signed consent form is required prior to release of records.  Our Privacy Policy can be accessed below for your reading.

APPOINTMENTS

Consultations are by appointments which may be made personally, by telephone or using Hotdoc online appointments.  You can now use Hotdoc online to make a standard 15 minute face to face appointment.  The usual appointment time is 15 minutes.  if you need a longer appointment, please let the receptionist know.

Emergency cases will be given priority and some problems may take longer than the booked time.  For these reasons, the doctor may be late but we will try to adhere to appointment times.

Cervical Screening Test, Counselling, Care plans (Chronic disease or Mental Health), Multiple Issues
